Challenge

A brain child of The Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, The Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI) had spearheaded one of the most successful public health campaigns – tobacco control. Through this process the team learned not only how to advocate but how to help pass meaningful legislation.

They wanted to take their learnings and share it with the world, but lacked an identity and platform to do so. They enlisted our help to build a digital presence that would not only reflect where they’ve been but, more importantly, where they are going.

Approach

Deep Dive Workshop

We conducted a half day workshop to help GHAI identify website audiences into three core groups: potential funders, advocates working on their programs, and internal GHAI and CTFK staff.

Stories and Numbers

One key objective was to position the GHAI team as thought leaders in their space. We intentionally mixed the use of storytelling through case studies and the incorporation of numbers to communicate their reach and the impact of GHAI’s work.

Access to Tools

While GHAI’s site was aimed to be informational, their end goal was to nudge advocates to take action. We created clear pathways for visitors to learn and gain access to critical tools to help them bring GHAI’s best in class practices to their communities.
